Split, mixed, drawn and quartered.
There are sometimes I hate the mailings I do at work. The biggest reason is that they come, and more often, go in parts; Most of its either economic (money) or space (clearing space or not enough space to fit everything into one packet). Take today, for example: all the IRC’s (In-store Redeemable Coupon, basically a ‘save at the checkstand’ type of advertising) for Petsmart are soooooooo big that we *cough*I*cough* had to mail most of them separate today. Fun day.
That is not all, as every mailing I do comes in parts. A little from here, a little from there, maybe a smidgen or 10 from here. Really, it never comes as a shock to me to hear from my boss “Have you closed them [the packages] up yet? Good, there’s something else going into it from <Insert name of where ever here>.” It’s chaos theory at work, every day.
Oh well, it still pays good.
